Every Autumn the school has a very special celebration called GrandPal's Day.  Each year grandparents and special friends come from around the country, sometimes even from around the world to be honored by our children.  They are treated to coffee, juice, muffins and serenaded by the RCS Band.  Then they are led on a personal tour of the school by their very own "Grand"child.  Every GrandPal leaves with a bag filled with artwork keepsakes.  This past year GrandPal's were offered the opportunity to share their wisdom with us and this is what they had to say:

Words of Wisdom ~ Grandpals Day

Bloom where you are planted ~ Love everyone! ~ PRAY!! ~ Listen, Learn and Love ~ Do your very best each and every day and be kind to ALL your classmates ~ God gives everyone special gifts ~ Always do the best you can no matter what happens and know that you are loved ~ Always be sweet and caring as now! ~ Trust in God ~ Treat your neighbor with love ~ Keep the faith in the Lord and work hard ~ Be kind to everyone ~ Remember to LAUGH OUT LOUD HAHA! ~ Do at least one act of kindness everyday ~ Practice gratitude ~ Love a lot ~ Smile and be kind ~ Always believe in God! ~ Always wake up in the morning and say your going to be Happy! ~ Remember your prayers every day! ~ Always be kind to everyone ~ Always do your best ~ Laugh often, enjoy life ~ Make your goals worthy ~ BELIEVE you are loved ~ Always put yourself in another person’s place ~ Remember to treat others with respect and dignity ~ Always keep Jesus in your heart ~ Be honest ~ Have a passion for what you do! ~ Plant LOTS and LOTS of flowers!! ~ Treat others the way you want to be treated! ~ Practice being nice ~ Never forget to say your prayers! ~ Be kind to others and they will be kind to you. ~ Pray for your friends and foes ~ Leave all things in the hands of God! ~ Mom is always right ~ On a cold day make hot chocolate and put mini marshmallows – make it look like a smiley face ~ Smiling always makes you feel good! ~ An education is the best gift you can give yourself ~ The best gift you can receive is the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ~ Remember - Listen Overlook Verbalize Effort ~ Believe in God and in yourself ~ The quality of your decision depends upon the amount and quality of information used to make that decision ~ Technology – is the way society provides it’s members with the things they want or need. ~ Our Children are the greatest investment in our faith ~ If you believe you can do it, you can! ~ Sleep is your friend! ~ Positive Mental Attitude Daily! ~ Mind your manners and say your prayers ~ Start each day with a prayer! ~ Always remember you are never alone – God is always walking beside you! ~ Always remember God loves you and we do too! ~ Mind your parents they know best ~ Forgive everyone as you want them to forgive you ~ “Simplicity is Beauty” ~ Give thanks for everything and remember you are special ~ Say a prayer each day! ~ Life is a dance.
